We had such a great experience at Veterinary Park Potomac! The whole staff was incredibly kind, patient, compassionate, and thorough, and they made my anxious dog feel so comfortable and at ease. We saw Dr. Monica Calderon, and I truly cannot say enough good things about her. She was wonderful with him and took the time to make sure he felt safe and comfortable. My beloved Stevie whom I recently taken custody of wasn’t feeling well . I noticed a small cyst on his backside within min it had swallow up. Like any pet mom I sprung into action . Doctor Katie had  come highly recommended , when I called they were near closing when I stated my dog was in pain they quickly said “ bring him in” turned out he needed emergency surgery . Doctor Katie and her wonderful staff went above and beyond the call of duty.. Stevie is now well and happy. What I loved most is after surgery he wasn’t half sleep and lethargic . Doctor Katie administered the perfect amount of anesthesia. I could not be happier with Potomac animal service . If you’re looking for quality service , friendly staff and loving hearts. Look know  further then park Potomac veterinarian. Folow up- coming here is alwsys a pleasure my dogs love them place is so very clean and most of all my stevie lemon loves and trust them . 5/20/26 Here’s Stevie. Again, in need of another anal glad surgery. The timing could not have been worst not only is it the weekend it’s a holiday weekend. As always the fabulous team of park Potomac was able to bring Stevie in on there already jammed packed schedule . Dr Katie and her team stayed after hours performed the necessary surgery using extreme care . My Stevie came out happy and was running around within the hour. What a beautiful experience and I’m so very grateful to have them for my fur babies needs. If you love your pets as I do then you want the best possible care;Here is where you will receive it. My fur babies and I are new to this practice and couldn’t be more pleased! From my first call they’ve exceeded expectations in every way. I took my golden doodle to Veterinary Park Potomac yesterday and it was a great experience.  Everything I was looking for in a vet clinic.  The staff from the receptionist to the vet tech to the doctor were all friendly, kind and professional.  I got great advice from Dr. Malehorn on feeding and activity issues.  My dog seemed relaxed and even seemed calm when she returned from getting her shots.  The office was bright and I especially liked that the exam room was comfortable and spacious with a big couch for me and my dog.  The appoinment was easy to schedule and there was no waiting when I got there; I was taken to the exam room immediately upon entering the office.  Even the parking was easy. We love the Veterinary Park Potomac team! I started bringing both of my girls (Winnie, my golden, and precious, my yorkiepoo) to see Dr. Monica and she and her team are just fantastic! They have fabulous costumer service, answer all of your questions with such thoroughness, advocate for your pets, and also collaborate with you to create the perfect treatment plan.
